UNIT II THEOREMS FOR DC CIRCUITS 9 Network reduction: voltage and current division rules, source transformation – star / delta conversion. Theorems: Thevenin’s and Norton’s Theorem – Superposition Theorem – Maximum power transfer theorem – Reciprocity theorem.

Single phase circuits: RL, RC, RLC series circuit, Complex Impedance, Real and Reactive Power, Power factor calculations. Application to AC load. Three phase circuits: Phase and line values – phasor diagrams- analysis of three phase 3-wire and 4 wire circuits with balanced loads & un balanced loads.
